I was wrong when I said we got the chickens in October. My images have revealed that we got them in December. My bad! So with that correction I will post some of the pics from that time.

I have to admit I am a bit afraid of these chickens. I don't even try to pick them up. I have tried to feed them out of my hand but they were not interested. That is what I really want to be able to do. So I think right now the plan is to keep the 5 hens until the new little ones we bought in march start to lay. Then we will invite the Chickenator over. I'm not sure I could kill them myself but I am sure I could eat them.
